Winner of many awards including the Community Leadership Award which recognised Saidah for her dedication and motivational leadership in the community, working with local authorities, West Midlands Police, Social Services and various other agencies in rescuing young girls, supporting families, overcoming cultural barriers and giving them a life worth credibility in society.
Saidah strongly feels communities are lacking support for many underlying issues behind closed doors and having the experience and understanding of cultures makes a huge contribution by supporting at the grassroots level
In late 2019 Saidah decided to open her own company called Big Mommas Housing and build a women's support team to house young girls and vulnerable women, to support and mentor them and not just house them. Saidah aims to build their hope to believe that everyone has a chance to succeed in life, to value your-self and each other, to help build their confidence, reduce their isolation and help them to participate in mainstream activities e.g employment and education.
